It's Christmas!

There's a hustle and a bustle and excitement everywhere
Happy children, ringing bells resounding in the air.

And tucked inside so many hearts are lots of merry secrets
Hurry Christmas, hurry fast, it is so hard to keep it!

The spicy, steaming kitchen smells give warmth to every home
The fire glowing at the hearth leaps out in happy tone.

Papa's checkbook's looking flat, he keeps wondering where he's at
'Cause Mama changes the amount too fast for him to keep the count!

And yet in spite of everything he loves his little Mrs.
'Tis the season filled with love for once again it's Christmas!
