For school lets out, no poems to rhyme.
No bus to catch, no themes to write
Don't have report on the satellite.
I just sleep in and turn off the alarm
Give sleepin' pills to the cows in the barn.
And on Christmas day instead of hot lunch
There'll be Christmas turkey, no ticket to punch.
No school bells just sleigh bells, that jingle and ring
Just parties and dances and carols to sing.
Oh I feel so relieved with vacation so near
But tell me why Christmas comes just once a year!
